Been ridin' since I was 16; that was 54 years ago. Been around BMWs all the time and always admired them. Finally got one a couple of weeks ago, a R 1200 RT. Live in the middle of SC, but looking forward to joining up with y'all.

Hi I am looking at the Charlotte area for relocation. I ride a K1200GT and belong to the NE Oklahoma BMW Riders. Great site and looks like a busy bike area. Any one have any suggestions, likes and or dislikes of the area? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks Arnold Terkel

When you are riding about, come to Butler, TN, near the start of the "Green Eyed Snake" aka route 421 with 460 curves, 3 mountains and one valley! We offer room and board in our bed and breakfast www.ironmountainINN.com. You don't even need to pack a toothbrush - we'll provide it and a robe! Plus a hearty breakfast and dinner as well. Just give us a call at the number on the website. Looking forward to sharing the magic of the mountains.

I currently live in Los Angeles. I am considering moving to North Carolina with my wife. I ride a '75 R90/6 and am an Airhead member. I was looking to see what is happening locally. It looks like you have a pretty active and friendly club. I can't what to check it out. I will need to come out soon. Let me know if you have any tips for me including places to stay. Thank you.

Just logged in the site. I'll be looking forward to coming to the Daniel Boone Rally because my dad lives in Wilkesboro and the location is very convenient. It'll be a good excuse to ride through U.S. 129 and the Cherohala skyway as well as the Blue Ridge Parkway up to Dad's house ;).

I'm a Harley rider that just bought an R1200 RT. Hope to be back in Clt for the New Years ride. I've had the bike for a week and put on about 1300 miles. Pretty cool machine.
