I bought a 2003 BMW R1200 CL back in June of this year and have loved riding it. Unfortunately, I must sell it. If anyone would be intereseted, please give me a call. Pictures can be viewed here: http://s1139.photobucket.com/albums/n549/spamdaddy/2003%20BMW%20R1200%20CL/

I have breakfast every Sunday at Light Rail and see you guys there.

I am checking to see if any of your members are interested in a part ownership of a 6×10 Wells Cargo trailer. I have one set up to haul my VTX 1800. I only need it 1-2x year and the rest of the time it sits.

Am looking for partners to share cost and use it. I live in SC and have an area to store it on my property which is close to I-77. Also, SC requires no trailer registration, so the ony real cost is tires and bearings. Has new tires and is ready to go. Ideally I would like 2 other co-owners. I have $1600 (trailler, tires, bearings, drive on chock, 3 ramps, and tie downs) in it so I would split the cost. Gary Straub fastmover1@yahoo.com 803-984-5044.

Just got back from another Daniel Boone Rally. Best one yet. Weather held off and had some great rides planned out for those who came. BBQ was fantastic.

My 1971 BMW R75-5 was just stolen over the weekend from my garage in Red Springs NC. It has its original paint job (gray with blue pinstriping), the big 7-gallon tank, and a black Luftmeister fairing. It also has a dropped valve, a busted piston, a frozen front end, shot rear brakes, a slipping clutch, and dry-rotted tires and seat, so it’s not even good for parts.

If anyone sees it and the miserable thief, it’ll be worth a thousand bucks to me to get his name and address. Call the cops for me and you’d be doing me a HUGE favor too!

    Thanks for the help.

It would be helpful to know what kind of assistance is needed. Do you want our club to round up canned food? Provide transportation to something? THANKS.

If you are in the Charlotte area and you require BMW service, BMW of Charlotte has an excellent staff of mechanical professionals. Many a BMW club member has prevented breakdowns due to their thorough maintenance procedures.

    To John Olaskovsky,
This is Terry Taylor, I have the 1150 GS with the Ural sidecar . Could you give me a name and phone number of a club member who works on BMWs? Or give my number or Email address to that person? I want to go to the rally, but my machine is running poorly, thanks for your help.

Hello: I am trying to reach Keith Paxton, one of your members. We met on the road, and I got an email address from him that I have been unsuccessful using. Anyone know how to reach Keith? Please ask him to email me at his convenience.

    Thanks,

      Hi Harry,

We’re sorry but we have also lost touch with former member Keith. Tried to forward your note to him and it failed. He must have moved out of this area of the country. Perhaps he will see this and get in touch with you. – webmaster

      • Keith Nunnery says:

KP is still with us. According to Monica he checked in to renew his membership. Will try to get in touch with him myself about Harry’s note.

      Hi Harry,

      Good to hear from you.

I thought I had sent the check for membership back in Nov, but it never made it so I was a membership slacker and didn’t know it. Then found out my email address was old in the membership roster.

      I’m here. PH: 704 575 4984.

Ready for the mountains again? How’s the new Guzzi?
